Terms of Service

1. About ParentCoord

ParentCoord is a Co-Parenting communication and coordination platform operated by Invest Park City, LLC, a Utah limited liability company. ParentCoord provides tools including messaging, shared calendar, expense tracking, document storage, and access to Utah legal resources to help co-parents communicate and coordinate effectively.

2. Eligibility

To use ParentCoord you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of or have a co-parenting matter in the State of Utah
• Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law

By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access ParentCoord's features you must create an account. When registering you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Each co-parent must create their own separate account. Sharing accounts between co-parents is not permitted.

4. Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

ParentCoord offers a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. A valid credit card is required to begin your trial. Your card will not be charged during the 7-day trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription.

Subscription Fee

After the free trial, ParentCoord costs $15.00 per parent per month. Each co-parent subscribes independently. Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months. After cancellation your account will remain active until the end of the paid period, after which access will be discontinued.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription price with 30 days advance notice to registered users via email. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

ParentCoord is designed to help co-parents communicate respectfully and in the best interests of their children. By using our platform you agree not to:

• Use the platform to harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate your co-parent or any other person
• Send messages containing profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• Use ParentCoord to attempt to alienate your children from the other parent
• Upload or share illegal content of any kind
• Attempt to circumvent or disable the civility filter
• Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate co-parenting coordination
• Impersonate another person or provide false information
• Attempt to access another user's account without authorization
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or other tools to access the platform
• Violate any applicable Utah or federal law

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to ParentCoord including messages, documents, calendar entries, and expense records ("Your Content").

By submitting content to ParentCoord you grant Invest Park City, LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your co-parent.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it. You agree not to submit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that violates any third party's rights.

7. Document Vault

ParentCoord's Document Vault allows you to store parenting plans, support orders, school documents, and other family records. Important limitations to understand:

• ParentCoord is not a legal document repository and makes no representations about the legal admissibility of documents stored on the platform
• Do not store documents containing sensitive medical information, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive personal data
• Always maintain independent backup copies of important legal documents
• We are not responsible for any loss of documents due to technical issues, account termination, or other circumstances

8. Attorney Directory

ParentCoord's attorney directory (when available) lists Utah family law attorneys who have applied to be included. Important limitations:

• Listing in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or vetting of any attorney by ParentCoord or Invest Park City, LLC
• You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting any attorney you contact through our platform
• ParentCoord is not a lawyer referral service as defined under Utah law
• No attorney-client relationship is created through ParentCoord

9. Free Legal Resources

ParentCoord provides links and information about free and reduced-cost Utah legal resources as a convenience. We make no representations about the accuracy, availability, or quality of those resources. Information about third-party organizations is provided for informational purposes only and may change without notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

PARENTCOORD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY UTAH LAW, INVEST PARK CITY, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that ParentCoord will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the legal information provided on the platform is accurate, complete, or current.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INVEST PARK CITY, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF PARENTCOORD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF PARENTCOORD SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Invest Park City, LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of ParentCoord, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in abusive behavior toward other users, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice.

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us at info@parentcoord.com.

Upon termination, your right to access ParentCoord ceases immediately. We will retain your data for up to 90 days before permanent deletion unless required by law to retain it longer.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of ParentCoord shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email and by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of ParentCoord after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Invest Park City, LLC regarding your use of ParentCoord and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
